Annette Hemmerich

As an art therapist, it has fascinated and inspired me from the very beginning to accompany people on their way to getting closer to themselves. To constantly re-immersion myself in each individual's very own world, visual language and form of expression and to gradually find ways out of patterns and one-sidedness together with them: to encourage them to dare and endure the tension and challenge of unfamiliar creative methods and to discover the joy of new creative possibilities.

At the same time, I began to work with the Guided Tinting method developed by Fritz Helmut Hemmerich. First with individual patients, then also with groups. I myself was very touched by this voice work and impressed by the immediacy and directness with which - in comparison to the painting process - the voice reveals to us the ways in which we stand in our own way and where our respective healing needs lie. Together we developed this method - "Anafonesis" - further. My focus shifted more and more to this area of activity: voice and breath. Gradually, the use of bio- and neuro-feedback methods was added as a way of helping patients to refine their self-perception in a short space of time so that they can practise in a beneficial and healing way for themselves: Auditory Perception Training (Tomatis (R)), Cardiac Coherence Training and HEG (Frontal Brain Circulation Training).
