He engages in the diagnosis and treatment of severely traumatized patients at the Top Referent Trauma Center of Mental Health Care Drenthe, Assen, The Netherlands. He performs his scientific research at this hospital, and collaborates with universities in the Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland.
