A course for people interested in cross-disciplinary dialogue and integration. Therapies and modalities such as Somatic Psychology, SE, Formative Embodiment, Polarity Therapy, Cranial Biodynamics, Pre and Perinatal Therapy, Focusing and others have many possibilities for enriching and extending each other. Principles, procedures, techniques, methods of assessment, and relational styles can all be part of this open conversation. Explorations of this type can provide practitioners with additional options for working with their clients on challenging issues. Jim has been engaged in synthesizing and integrating various therapeutic approaches for over 40 years.

In this course for professionals, there will be lecture, demonstration, small group activities, coaching opportunities, cross-disciplinary dialogue and careful examination of paradigms and therapeutic models. The emphasis will be on the intersection of concept, experience, skill-building and applications. The participants will be able to engage with the course material in a variety of ways, as subjects, facilitators and observers.

Jim Feil, MA, DC, RPP, RCST has been in the field of complementary health care since 1970. He began his career in the healing arts by studying with Dr. Randolph Stone, founder of Polarity Therapy, from 1970 to 1973.
